During major Cannes events, traffic density and venue constraints can break even well-built schedules.
Start by separating fixed movements from flexible ones. Airport arrivals, speaker calls and departures for a flight need protected times; dinners, guest shuttles and late returns often allow more adjustment. Mixing them in one list makes priorities hard to see.
The Palais des Festivals, Croisette hotels, beach venues and villas do not share the same stopping conditions. Closures and accreditation can move a pickup away from the public entrance, so organiser instructions must reach the transport contact before confirmation.
Use one current movement sheet and one lead contact. For every journey, list the passenger name, reachable mobile number, pickup entrance, destination, requested time, luggage and flight details where relevant. Mark each revision clearly rather than circulating competing versions.
Choose between point-to-point transfers and standby deliberately. Standby keeps a vehicle assigned for an agreed period, while separate transfers release it between movements. The two options affect availability and fare in different ways.
Vehicle capacity should be checked movement by movement. A sedan may fit one guest with hand luggage, while airport groups, production cases or evening wardrobe bags can require a van even when the passenger count looks low.
Build recovery time into the plan. Peak-event traffic does not respond reliably to optimistic map times, and a vehicle delayed on one movement can affect the next. A practical schedule protects critical arrivals first and leaves a clear process for late changes.
